A unique opportunity to buy a unique bottle from Ireland's Newest Whiskey Brand.

The First Whiskey to be released from Limerick City for many years and this release definitely celebrates Limerick's Heritage and history.

Limited to only 100 bottles that have quickly sold out , these  Bottles are individually numbered and easily identified as the first 10 bottles from the release as they have an additional Red Wax seal on the top.

Aged in a single Oloroso sherry cask and bottled to cask strength, 61% abv. This is the first batch and is the first of a series which will follow the life of a single cask which will have future bottlings withdrawn from it  and allowing the remainder of this whiskey to continue to mature.This process will highlight the influence of time and the environment on the same maturing spirits taste and profile.

On the neck of each bottle, is a uniquely numbered coin which is a replica of the traditional 'Tub tokens' that were  originally used to purchase spent grains from the original Thomond Gate Distillery as a nod to the history of distilling in Limerick.
The packaging also includes a certificate — in the original writing style of the distillery and eachnew bottle owner will be invited  to enter their name into the 'Thomond Gate Book of Custodians'. which will be an eternal record of the faith and support this brand has had from its founding buyers.
